Android 'most popular' with smartphone buyers

The survey by market research firm Nielsen shows that in the three months to the end of August, 56% of Americans buying a phone chose Android.

Apple iPhones running its iOS software were bought by 28% of new smartphone buyers.

Can't say I'm surprised by that considering most Android phones are free with low ppm contracts

Yes thats true, although playing devils advocate here, apple stuff is just expensive all over, ipods, mac's iwotsits all come with a premium pricetag. I found this quite amusing VID the other day. Although being an android lover I expect I would, if theres one fault the android has is the OS's reliance on internal system memory which limits the amount of apps you can install on it depending on what model you go for.
