It's been snowing here a bit today. We went up into the mountains to do some sledding too.

Its been trying to snow all day here, hopefully I'll get snowed in

 

A slight dusting of snow here in Darlington. We went up to High Force today and there was snow on the hills, plus it was absolutley freezing!

 

No snow here guys

 

LOL - I bet! Spoke to my bro yesterday - 41 degrees in Melbourne, and I'm guessing its probably hotter up there on the Gold Coast!

It is proper snowing here now - got two inches settled already, and looking like it might continue through the night - which pretty much means no trains tomorrow morning

 

Only a light dusting here in derbyshire at the moment.

No Zeb, actually for once it's way cooler up here on the Cold Coast, a good 10 deg C lower. which is fine by me, temps in the over 40s are tough to deal with. we saw on the local news last night that 40 people have died recently, in the last couple of days, in Adelaide, and the deaths are a direct result of the heat.

 

We've had it on and off all day in Corby/Weldon. Makes a change, though I'm not that keen on being outside in it.

 

You need to make that move up here then :P. Renting or buying? There's lots of places here for rent (That I'm aware of) that need no deposit. I'm looking for a new place myself at the moment.

Also - a fan heater pointing at you might be a better idea. So you're not heating the whole room, just the bit you're sat in. Might work out cheaper

 

Yeah, my brother told me a salutary lesson about living down under. Said he had a barbie the other day and went to pull the bag of coals from underneath the grill. His brother in law grabbed his arm and said - "nonononono" then took a broom handle and flicked it about under there. Sure enough, a wolf spider dropped out and scuttled off!

well I am snowed in today, it's looking quite bad out there although the south are getting it the worst at the moment.

It still makes me laugh when the news is all about snow in London causing chaos. We had snow like your getting now 2 weeks ago and was it on the news? nope.

 

I don't know what happened here, i live about 25miles from London and all we got was about an inch!

 

There's about an inch or two here and it's snowing heavy at the moemnt.

 

GBL, London is the heart of the UK so no hard feelings, and yes am snowed in today as well as no buses and trains are running.

 

Just went out, only to find I couldnt find where my car was



MET office say to stay indoors and only go out if its that urgent. so that means I can take the day off and start throwing snowballs at people then or throw one and run way

See now thats more like it, i want that kind of snow. Apparently there will be about 10cm today.

Seriously - there's never been snow like it as far as I can remember in London - and apparently its going to snow all day.

I am going to build the biggest snowman in history later...

 

I hope it does snow more, coz then i might get tomorrow off work. I got my 290 exam on Wednesday and could do with some revision time.
