Anyone tried a new service pack for windows XP?

I'm just downloading it and will give it a go

Since I only have live systems that are currently running XP I'll not take the risk until the final version is released.

 

well now thats just typical!!

downloaded 99.1% and our primary internet connection went down, by the time the backup one kicked in - opera decided to drop the downloading

simongrahamuk I also have live XP's running on the network so at the moment I'll just install new service pack on the test boxes.

 

Me too, when WSUS rolled out SP2 me network became ususable for 4 hours.

What is expected out of SP3, anything major.

SP3 installed on my test box and on my work PC

so far both seem to work slightly faster and the Remote Desktop Connection is no very similar to the one in Vista

 

Im busy downloading now, any other changes?
