Problem What does a max age of 73 mean?

    Hello,

I have been testing RSTP and the device is seen to send RST BPDU with max age 73, 221, etc, which are out of range. Also, the message age jumps to 88. On bridge initialization, the values stay well in limit. But when a superior BPDU with bridge priority as 4096 and appropriate MAC is sent to the device, it starts sending such weird values. Is any collapse happening with the device's state machine?

    Thanks,
    Dhivya
