I am more likely to install ISA on my server, for the web caching facility it has, but at this moment im reading the chm file from the MS site.

so far i understand what’s its on about, but have a look at this pic.

Client 1 and 2 websites are cached on the ISA Server computer, this speeds web browsing. Also with ISA you can set a time to download the content from the web to your server. fair enough, but what happens if the content on the server is 4 hours old? does client one retrieve the updated content from the site, or the old content from the ISA server?

Bluerinse or Phoenix are the guys for this but as far as I'm aware, each web site has a TTL (time to live) and when that runs out ISA will retieve the web page(s) according to whatever policy its policys are. Of course I could be completely wrong !!!!
