    Good quality smoked bacon, nice bread..... no need for brown or red sauce.

    Burn the heretic!!

    Red all the way.
    Here in Edinburgh they even try to force watered (or vinegared) down brown sauce on you when you buy chips, instead of vinegar :blink

    At the risk of provoking another schism in the community, there is also the question of smoked or unsmoked bacon.

    OOOOoooooohhhhh, that is what I call a crime against man! Who ever heard of such garbage as unsmoked bacon, I thought they made all swine puff on packs of Pall Malls until they keel over...

    Tesco Smoked Bacon, Large Free range eggs and Brown sauce (in a toasted sandwich). Very late brekky / lunch. Was lovely. ;)

    I have, a bit spicey, but then again I did use a touch to much of it :oops: Apart from that, nice :D

    Don't mind, like them both... The question is fried or grilled :twisted:

    Try it with duck eggs, even better (apart from the brown sauce) :biggrin

    Not to mention salt and vinegar, or salt or vinegar on your fish and chips.

    BTW, if I ever have the chance to have one, it'd be red sauce for me.

    THis thread hit a new level for CF.

    FWIW I'm a red sauce man, however if there is a fried egg option then it would be brown. There go figure.

    Na, its wrong, im a brown sauce and mayo person.
    While were on about sauces what do you lot have with a kebab? Garlic, chilli or both?
    It had to be asked lol, im garlic myself although i do get both now and again.

    And on a bacon roll, it HAS to be brown, not Daddies, HP!! it is the only HP thing i would recommend 8)

    I would have agreed with you guys about HP but not any more. They actually closed the factory a short while back where it's been made in England for donkeys years. It's now been (wait for it) out sauced to India or somewhere.

    It ain't British any more, so I am boycotting it.
