As some of you know, i haven't had a great start to 2006 with the latest blow being my current employer selling up.....

I think it was Bluerinse who said one door closes and another opens. I have accepted a Junior Network Admin role today. :) It is a cracking job with great prospects, plus the added bonus of knowing one of the staff already.- JonnyMX.

I start next week so will keep you posted :thumbleft

    Woo!
I'm really pleased to be able to offer Boyce a position that he so rightly deserves.
I have been extremely impressed with his posts on the forum, both in terms of his technical knowledge and also his maturity and willingness to help others.
I do not represent a recruitment agency or anything like that. I just needed someone to help me out.

    Long live CF!

I'm really looking forward to working with Boyce, and I would say to all you out there - have a hope, it can work out. It's a matter of being in the right place at the right time and being a good bloke (or girl, whatever). Just goes to show - if you try hard enough, as Boyce has done, you will get your rewards.

I would also say, for my own personal sanity, that I do not provide jobs for a living. This one worked out for both of us, but please God, do not PM me asking for work. You won't get it...

    Oh, and another thing.
Don't think you can waste work time posting to this dumb*ss forum.

It's amazing how things pan out sometimes. Who would have thought that this forum would have provided the solution to Boyce's 2006 woes. Congrats mate and kudos to you JonnyMX 8)

Hopefully this will send out a message to all of you out there who start threads with things like 'Help, employment with no experience' etc.
    It can happen.

Boyce has taken the initiative to help others in his spare time, join a community and help moderate that community while asking nothing in return. It's that kind of thing that sticks out more than a decent CV.
It was certainly the most surreal interview, because I knew what his favorite beer was before we went in!
