Should I do the Hyper-V exams now or wait for the 2012 exams?

I've been asked to do my virtualisation exams for Hyper-v as we use it heavily where I work. Is it worth doing them as the current version exams expire July 2013. We are going to migrate to Hyper-V Server 2012 so should I hold off and do those instead as I heard there is a big stepup between the versions. Anyone also know when the new virtualisation exams are due to be released?
