    Hey

I was told and was under the impression that for MCDST there was no such thing as "right clicks" as far as the exam questions go as it is more of a real world feature.

Yet on my new vct training guide every other thing is a right click!

Which information is correct please? any advice?

    Regards

Well i haven't studied for the MCDST but if you aren't taught how to right click, then something is very weird :blink

    spy22,

MCDST and exams are separate but related. MCDST refers to the certification you achieve after passing two exams. With that said, instead of just focussing on the "right-click" method of accomplishing what you want to accomplish, learn ALL possible ways to accomplish the same thing using keystrokes, different dialog boxes, and other methods.

    Did my post help?

As above, I just finished my MCDST tests and I do not recall any of my studies refering to RC and find it safe to say you need not worry about RC or shortcuts in general for the MCDST. Know the Microsoft way.

MCDST likes to test you on the many different methods of carrying out the same single task .

if you read the MS Press book often it will refer to something again later in the book, but via a different route.

As for right mouse buttons , they are mentioned in the MS Press Book for the 271 that's for sure.

if disabled in simulation , could still be in a multiple-choice question
