required for ccna security

    I Want to pass the CCNA security but i dont have CCNA academic , if this Idea is possible ?????

    Are you asking if you have to take CCNA Academy courses in order to take the CCNA Security? If this is what you're asking, the answer is no. If you're asking if passing the CCNA is required in order to achieve the CCNA Security certification, the answer is yes. Alternatively, Cisco says that any CCIE will work as a pre-req for the CCNA Security. That being said, you can take the CCNA Security without having any other certifications; you just won't achieve the CCNA Security certification until you also pass the CCNA.
