    You want to create a mirror of all the home directories on the linux computers on your network to a single directory on a server. Of the choices below, which utility would be best for the job? Choose only one answer.

    2. rsync

    Answer time. Correct answer is #2, rsync. It can be used to mirror directories locally or across the network. #3 dd is used to convert and copy files "byte-wise". #1 cpio is used to copy files into or out of either a cpio or tar archive, #4 mt is used to work with magnetic tapes and #5 cron is a service that lets you schedule tasks such as backup tasks.
