    Hi all,

In order to help with my motivation, i have decided to set an exam date in late April/early May for the os core of my A+.

I know of prometric and vue but do not know the differences with the actual test centres.

    Could anyone help?

There is no real difference except physical location. Look at both sites and see who is closest to you.
Both have their own voucher system so you need to bear that in mind if paying with vouchers.
Try not to mix and match exams between the two, as it will result in confusion...

I find Pearson more user friendly and have been more helpful when things have gone wrong. Prometric gave me the brush off a few times.

At then end of the day, it is more about the venue rather than the company. They both have similar requirments from the test centres, but you will find some easier to get to, park at, and generally more comfortable.

Well I usually use Prometric as their partner test centers appear to be better in Australia.

Having said that I am supposed to do the 70-285 Exchange 2003 Design exam soon...when I remember what I did with my registration...

One or other of them don't quote VAT in their cost, but I can't say if that doesn't mean you end up paying it...

I sat my A+ and my 70-270 at Prometric sites in the UK, and they don't charge VAT.
