PC first build problem...

    I'd at least raise the question then with the supplier. What if one of them goes 'up the swanny' and you try to do a return? Can they turn around and say that one of the RAM sticks doesn't match what was provided on the receipt?

    As long as you disable parity checking on non paired they normally work ok.

    I've just sent Komplett an email saying that they sent me an unmatched pair, and asked if they would send me a matched pair instead so I'll have to wait and see what they say.


    How do you disable the parity checking?

    This depends on whether the sticks were ECC in the first place, and whether your motherboard supports that.

    might b obvious but have u connected both power connectors? had that b4 and it did my nut in.
