Yep - passed with a 715 this arvo - well happy! Although it didnt start to well when i got on the wrong train and ended up in Stratford rather than Wilsden Junction (opposite ends if your not in london) bu just got there in time :D

Obviously wont go into details of questions, but in terms of topic's -i got asked on - it seemed to be a wide range DHCP/DNS/Wireless/Connectors/Cable/Netware/OSI/Disaster Recovery - everything really - no mac (thank god) :)
i'd highly recommend the transcender pack - out of the few i downloaded this was easily the best :)

Right i'm gonna start exercising, eating better after spending 4 month on the same seat and basically eating pizzas and not seeing my mates :)

    thanks u lot :)

well i have to go on a ccna boot camp in mid-march (thats why i wanted to do the network+ first - sort of pre-reading if u like :) )- i dont have any choice, i have actually had an argument/debate with my boss - relating to the fact that yes - lets say i pass it, it would be a fluke or you might be even able to say yes i understand some of the stuff. it doesnt mean i'm going to be let loose on stuff on the company network - keep seeing posts by people saying if get a ccna will that mean i definately get a good job etc... i rekon my situation is sort of like that - i might get the qualification (extremley unlikely) but got no real experience so it don't really count as far as i'm concerned, don't want to rain on anyones parade but experience is the key i think . On the plus side i should learn alot, and now feel i can really look at the role i have (junior network admin) - as we only use cisco - so will be concentrating on that from now on! all good though - no more studying ahhhhhhhhhh - well for a bit anyway ;)

Hey, if your boss says to get it, then you get it. :thumbleft At least you have a valid reason for getting it! :)

That's how I would look at it mate... you obviously have no choice in the matter, so relax, learn as much as you can and put it to good use in the work environment... if you pass, it's a bonus and if you don't, at least it's not your money, and you have seen what the exam is like up close and personal. 8)
