    Hey all,

Just to let you know that I passed 70-662 this morning with 920. Score totally didin't reflect how I thought I had done, but to be honest I was quite lucky with the questions (plus, a lot of the questions could be worked out by eliminating the wrong answers instead).

The testing centre I attended had a new type of examination software rolled out too, which crashed right at the end, pre the Prometric survey causing the helpdesk to panic as they didn't know what to do, but it was all sorted out in the end.

To all taking this exam in the near future, look out for SP1 questions as there were a tonne. Learn retention policies and tags, audit polcies, federation stuff, IRM and which additional bits you can now manage through the console instead of just the shell (witness server configs for DAGs, litigation holds etc)

As my pre exam relaxation evening last night was instead wasted doing 5 extra hours of work with dodgy broadcom software screwing up iSCSI targets on our main mailbox server (ghost virtual nic team not wanting to delete), celebrations will commence later on tonight.

Will look at doing the design exam for this in a couple of months to finish off the EMA 2010 requirements.

Congrats Qs! Good job on the exam... I was on my way to take this exam as well but ended up switching jobs and now need to get my CCNA and VCP4 before I can go and finish up my MCSE along with the Exchange exam!

I wish I could prof but we have a dedicated messaging team in our place and none of us mix jobs. If you've got time to do some of their work or vice versa, you aren't busy enough with your own work basically :S

We were short staffed today so if you divide the number of servers we support by the number of people we had..... I had 2 thousand today! Just hope my patching doesn't kill any more tonight :S

Passed as well this morning. Was one of the harder exams I've done, a few questions even had you choosing 1 answer from over 10 different possible responses!

Almost all questions also began by telling you that you're running SP1, but personally I did not find too many of the questions to be 'solely' about SP1 related trickery, and besides I've been working with SP1 most of my time so I guess it helped overall.

But yeah, archiving/jounraling/litigation was prominet, quite a bit about Edge, DAG as well (although no DAC/witness questions for me), and even client (Outlook) along with lots of OWA questions.

I coulda been better prepared for this as I quite simply didn't touch upon some of the things the exam quizzed me on, and coupled with yesterdays National Holiday and ensuing festivities left me with less than 6 hours of sleep... But a pass is a pass.

I'll be spending the rest of the day cramming for my 663 which takes place tomorrow, hooo boy. At least design is easier than installation/configuration.

Congrats matey! :) I can't even remember having anything on Edge, nor any of the journaling stuff. Think I really did get an easy set of questions for this exam...

All of the "here's a question, choose from X identical answers" were all SP1 specific, but easy as you could just work it out by elimination. I think that's where a bunch of my marks came from, because I seemed to get a large number of those.

Best of luck with the 663, I've booked mine in for the end of September. Will probably move it forward once I can focus on it a bit more. Let me know how you get on, as not many people seem to have taken it on the forums.

You're right, I also answered a lot of quesitons by using the elimination method.

Yup, I'll let you know about 663. I suspect it'll be a lot easier since I've done a LOT of design work for companies (and much less configuration/installation). But you never know... fingers crossed!
