    Hi there,

I have just passed the 70-210 exam with a 825 score. I'm over the moon and just glad it's all over, as it's a real weight off my shoulders. It was a tough exam, but not as tough as the server exam I took last october.
Now I just need to start preparing for 70-218. I think I'll take it a bit slower this time round, maybe in june or july. I'll hopefully get an MCSA by then, and then decide whether to go for a MCSE 2000 or MCSE 2003?

    Regards

Cheers guys for all the replies. BTW one thing I would like to ask is, will I get another certificate from Microsoft for passing this exam? I got a certificate for passing the server exam, so I was wondering whether I will get another one.

    Regards

No, you only get certs from MS when you attain a new status, eg MCP, MCDST, MCSA, MCDBA, MCITP, etc.

You don't get certs for every exam you take :)

So judging by the info you've put the next cert you'll get is the MCSA when you pass all the required exams.

Sorry just saw you're cert list, provided that you've registered the A+ & Network+ with MS already when you pass the 70-218, you should get the MCSA 2k. One thing though, I wonder if anyone can answer this: on MS website for the MCSA 2k it doesn't show the A+ & Network+ certs as an alternative to the MCSA 2k, but it does for the MCSA 2k3. Does anyone know why?

...until Microsoft finishes revamping their certification program, giving you an MCTS for every possible aspect of Microsoft technology:

MCTS: Windows Vista Screen Saver Maintenance Technician
MCTS: Windows Vista Startup and Shutdown Procedure Technician
MCTS: Windows Vista Sidebar Specialist (Gadgeteer)
MCTS: Windows Vista Power Management Specialist

    hah! :p
