Thanks, Cheeky. Yeah, it's really nice to feel good again and not to have all that stress to deal with every day.

 

It's easy to take your health for granted until you go through a period of bad health. Having been through the ringer in that regard a few times (including quite recently) I have learnt that lesson the hard way. Glad to hear you are feeling and doing better, long may it continue.

 

Sorry to hear you've had to go through similar things, and glad to hear you are doing well now too, Modey. I did take my health for granted to a certain extent, but much of my health problems stem from my disability and the inability to stay on my feet or walk more than a a couple hundred yards on a consistent basis. It's just completely changed how I live.

Just to echo the sentiments above
I know we too have often come head to head in debates on various issues
I too would like to reinforce that none of that was personal, we are each entitled to our views, and as you say its not what your views, but more how you expressed them towards the end of your time here

I'm glad you have managed to sort out your health issues and get back to being the person who we all knew you to be, and I look forward to many more of our little debating sessions

As others have already said, you are a well respected member of the community and your knowledge and insight are of value to anyone who reads what you have to say, even if they disagree (its always good to see both sides of the fence)

Thanks, Phoenix. And, no, I really never meant anything personal against anyone who disagreed with my point of view on issues, I was just so messed up physically and stressed out that I used words that had a real personal bite to them.

Just finally glad to know I wasn't the straw that broke the camels back.

 

LOL. Well, I am getting a humped back now.... Not your fault though. It's just the nature of my disability.

 

I can beat it back down with my cane if you want. It is starting to get dusty now from lack of use I'm sure it would appreciate the work out.

 

Is it me, or does anyone else think Mitzs's cane, tape, and general threats are often heard, but seldom seen ???

For those of you who dont know Freddy has been an inspritation to me from the first day and has helped me a lot with my MCSA studies way back when i first signed up then he introduced me to Debian...
