Checking most of the vue links it appears most of the test centres only do the actual courses and not the exams only, is it possible to pay just to sit the exam?

    thankyou for your time

    Welcome to CF gabong. :biggrin

Yes, it is of course possible to just book your exam and sit it, you do not need to have forked out any money on a course or anything before hand.

Either Phone up VUE or Prometric or schedule the exam online through their websites.

    Hi and welcome aboard :thumbleft

As Si has already pointed out you can take just the exam.
Don't forget to shop around for the vouchers though! I paid the test centre £140 for A+ core and only £73 for the OS via www.getcertified4less.com
It just so happens that most of them also do the classroom training for Comptia/Microsoft courses too.

I've never paid for the courses - just the exams. The centres I've been using have never queried this.
