MS Word issues any ideas?

Hi all

am having an issue with MS word were every now and then all the text will shift to show 1 letter per line and the only way i can figure out how to get it back is to close the document and reopen it.

i have also found that if this happens on a new document if i save it and exit then reopen it it works fine again.

it seems to happen quite randomly so dosnt appear to be tied to any specific function.

does any body know whats causing this and how to remedy this

Hmm not seen this, and it sounds like a bug to me. Have you tried re-installing Word? And maybe downloading any relevant Office updates/patches.

 

yep - try the updates and have you tried Detect and Reapir?

open word > help > Detect and repair
