    Its not too bad, sometimes you just have to key in the code over the phone and not even have to speak to anyone.

    Just try and activate the OS and then follow the on screen instructions....

    If it means you have to be in work more... hey, it's real-world IT server experience... and you don't have to work extra forever. ;)

    Thanks, I am not getting any extra cash infact there's just been 27 redundancies were I work but I have been told I am totally safe from redundancy.

    I wish, they've just announce 27 redunacies but there could be upto 40 :blink no pay rises, no bonuses :(

    There is a lot of belt tightening where I work too. We are directly affected by the fall in the housing market. Being a government agency makes things slightly easier for us, but there is still big budget cuts the managers have to deal with.

    and the manager are ones who should go because they earn good money for doing FA when the normal worker who busts a gut gets shat on :x

    You may not be getting the "extra coinage" but at least you've still got a job (while others are being made redundant) and some reassurance your employer wants you around. With that considered - it's all too bad 8)
