    Hi Guys

I am currently a MCSE 2003 so am going to start from scratch on the 2012 path however it looks like nearly all the Microsoft press books are coming out end of April, I was hoping to complete my MCSE by that date!

Question was, are there any other decent resources/books/videos I can use? I was planning to use the MSpress books so I wouldn't have any gaps in knowledge (along with VM's) and ideally don't want to wait til April.

    Advice would be appreciated :)

Hi I'm in the same boat as you, I've found there is a server 2012 unleashed book which is a really good read, plus I've noticed that there is a 70-410 exam study guide that hs just been released although I don't know about the quality of that one. I guess though apart from that unless train signal or cbt nuggets release anything its the exam objectives and tech net to get through the exams until mspress gets into gear.

Hmm, I did see that book but I looked on the amazon US website (had more reviews then UK) and the ratings were pretty bad, e.g.

So i'm still undecided based on the above, learning incorrect info would be worse then learning little info imo!

I am looking for books as well actually... What I've done so far was just build a up lab, read lots of technet material and so on. There are also the Early Expert stuff from technet you can take a look at.

Technet might just be too dry for me, I guess I can give it a try.

Hopefully there's some good books in the horizon in the interim..

Thanks, I've also noticed CBT nuggets is out for 410, 413, 414 which seems very quick, I've always used trainsignal as dont like the nuggets presentation style (handwriting), also noticed when I compared to the book contents vs CBT nuggets they miss certain topics, e.g. nuggets covers printers but the book covers "document services" too so thats why i'm not too keen on the nuggets.

I've also noticed the initial book reviews seem quite bad, e.g. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Exam-Ref-70...3675/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1357313080&sr=8-1 , if these books are meant to be the primary source of learning and preparing for the exam its a bit worrying, its only 258 pages too which seems much less compared to previous releases.
