    Hi,

I am looking to start my MCSA around April this year, and I am looking to complete the following exams for my cert:

    70-290
    70-291
    70-270
    70-236 or 299

Does anyone know if any are due to retire soon? No point in grafting if they're going to end soon!

    Thanks

On the contrary, it'd be even MORE important to get them if they were to retire soon! After all, you'd want to get it before it's no longer available!

That said, no, there's been no announcement from Microsoft about the impending retirement of the MCSA track... so you're good to go. Don't dawdle, in case they change their mind all of a sudden!

Have you considered doing 70-680 (Configuring Win 7) instead of 70-270 (XP) ?

I'm doing the 70-680 myself for the newer OS cert which also counts towards:

MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician 7
    MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator 7
    MCITP: Enterprise Administrator

    in the future.
