hi there and welcome to CF! do u have previous experience in IT? mcdst is a nice one to go for at the start, as it mainly deals with troubleshooting the applications and XP operating system and also good for gaining employment as a help desk analyst or level 2 desktop support :)

hmmm, if u dont have previous experience with computers, u should then also look at doing compTIA A+ certification, which actually helps you learn a lot about computer hardware as well as various operating systems of microsoft such as 95,98,2000, NT,XP Home and professional (oops forgot windows ME)...after this go on to studying for your MCDST. A+ gave me a lot of confidence to go on to microsoft certs...

no worries, if u have any queries just post them on CF and someone usually answers it quite fast :) u might also want to have a look at the A+ section of the CF to get more info on it

A friend once said you have to have dreams!
The day you give up on your dream you become dead inside and life isn't worth living!

Lot's of people in IT start between the ages of 30 - 55.

It's never too late to learn something new!
