    Okay I want to learn PHP properly, can someone recommend me some websites and books?

    Best books I have ever come across are the sitepoint books. The PHP Anthology Volume 1 Foundations and The PHP Anthology Volume 2 Applications. I have finished with my copies (ebooks). PM me your email address and i'll sort you out, I dont need them anymore. The sitepoint are the best books I have come across, and the content and step by step instruction is amazing.

    I've answered this on TU. Basicaly I suggested O'Reilly, as I found their book useful when I had to learn PHP a few years ago.
