Well I just rang up for a job to maintain a website of a local business.

I rang up and after a bit of discussion I said I'd learn the software no probs. He told me to ring back tomorrow if I felt comfortable that I could work with actinic.

Thing is, I've never heard of it.This jobs only a few hours a week, but it'll be handy money at the moment.

Does anyone know of this software, or could tell me how to learn it, like in a few hours

I'm not overly fussed about this, but I think the challenge would be good for me.

Any ideas, I'm checking the website out now www.actinic.co.uk
Ah, just noticed the free trial.Anyway, any help appreciated.

It's supposed to be fairly easy.I'll have a look at the documentation and trial software after my tutor chat.

The guy said I'd have to go into the place, about 4 miles away, but maybe you could do this remotely. As it's all software, this occured to me.

Like I say, I aint too fussed, I need full time work anyway.

I'll see, muddling this over in my head at mo

Thanks for the good luck though 8)

Sorry Flex, I've never used it but if it's already in place, up and running I wouldn't imagine its all that hard to maintain, the learning curve shouldn't be as steep as if you were going to set up a website with it from scratch. Good luck, tell us how you do.

Flex, just got the nod from a mate - says you might want to look here:

    http://www.webopedia.com/

for some more info. Unfortunately he didn't know about it either.
