Hey dude,

How did your first day go??

i was just looking for some advice myself.

I have been offered a similare job, within the automotive software industry in bristol. Although i have initially been offered a 6 week working interveiw, then they decide wether they will keep you on!!

im not sure wether to go with it, or not.

Was just looking for some advice, and feedback on your first day mate??

If you dont already have a IT related job then go for it , cant hurt nothing. like I said up to now first 2 days have been just learning the software I will be supporting, and will at some point be paired up with one of the other 1st Line team and start by just listening in on their calls then answering a few untill they drop me into the full thing ... been a lot to take in over the first few days must admit but the people have been great up to now.

I am looking for some voluntary work too.I think thats the right way to gain into employment while you get qualified..
