Hey all,

Found the site today and just joined. Have been in IT for over 15 years now, started with Novell then moved onto Windows and now getting into Linux (mainly CentOS and Ubuntu). Of which over the last year has been more to do with servers than on the desktop.

Anyhow, I have some "free-time" from work and am now on the road to cementing that knowledge by getting certifications.

Also Im in the London area; So am really looking for a study partners / people to chew the fat with. My msn should be available, so feel free to add me.

My lab consists of 5 desktops, 4x P4 3.0Ghz with 4GB of ram and the 5th one being a P4 3.4Ghz and 2.5GB which is also acting as a SAN. All pretty much headless with a laptop remote accessing them all via RDP/SSH. My environment is fully virtualised, the host OS is centos and the virtualisation is done by VirtualBox.

Is there an irc channel where members hang out?

Will keep you all updated on the progress I make.
