Bit late but good luck mate, sounds like you had a good interview and did your best. Its in their hands now.

Got my fingers crossed for ya.

 

They have offered me the job BUT I have had to turn the job down for three reasons.

1:They wanted me to drop even firther on the pay scale than the 6k I was going to drop, they wanted me to drop by 7.5k and there was no way I could afford that.
2:I have been offered interim IT support work at the place I work now, with a view to moving into the IT dept in 6 months
3:I get to keep the salary I am on now.

So I am quite happy now

Well sounds like the interview went well, did they say how long it would take to contact you?? Will they phone you or send a letter

Good news. You got offered the job, which is cool. There is no shame in turning it down, it looks like its actually helped you to better angle yourself with regards to your IT duties with your current employer, and no pay cut. Positive outcome (just don’t loose and backup tapes )

Congrats, but isn't this the place where the other IT fellow is a brain dump certified? Are you reporting to him/her, or the actual manager?
