Hi, every one my name is steve, started my course in september througth skilltrain doing A+,N+,CCNA and CCNP. I did`nt really by the sales man blurb about you will have all these cert in 12 months ( if i do i will be first man on mars 12 months after that  ). The reason i am doing it is becasuse i need a change of job, i currently work as hgv fitter and iam sick of been cold wet and up to the eyes in dirt. I just felt that IT was the path to take, and i fell that once when get A+ i`ve got a foot in the door and out of the cold. I`ve doing it for a couple of months now and i feel like its going at snails pace so if any one got any good advice on studying it would be a help.
    thanx yall SEV3009

Hi SEV3009 - welcome to CF. Hope we can help you on the cert track. Don't be fooled by promises of easy riches though, but hard work should see you at least get a foot in the door. :)

    Hi Sev,

Welcome aboard. Glad you found us in Cyberspace :thumbleft

Fear not, i have done my apprenticeship (Cars and LGV) and know exactly where you are coming from. I once thought there was no way out. Keep working, studying, posting threads, surfing for info, posting your CV off to employers and your time will come if you want it enough.
My nan says "what is yours wont pass you by".

    Best of luck
