How do you remove MSN Messenger

    Does anyone know how to remove MSN Messenger from Windows XP??

    It doesn't show up on the list for add & remove programs in the control panel??

    i think they may be a way of disabling it, which can be done by gpedit.msc

    In Add and Remove Programs, on the left hand side three icons down in the menu, there's the option 'add and remove windows components'.

    It's in there.

    Go to Add or Remove Programs, and click on Add/Remove Windows Components.Uncheck the MSN Messenger Service.

    You can also disable it with Group Policy as well. 8)

    Just keep in mind that windows messenger is what is shown in the add/remove components and MSN messenger is a different app.
