In Add and Remove Programs, on the left hand side three icons down in the menu, there's the option 'add and remove windows components'.

    It's in there.

    I'll go do you a screenshot :)

Go to Add or Remove Programs, and click on Add/Remove Windows Components.Uncheck the MSN Messenger Service.

You can also disable it with Group Policy as well. 8)

Just keep in mind that windows messenger is what is shown in the add/remove components and MSN messenger is a different app.
