thanks for the warm welcome folks - I'm another idiot who signed up to advent - well - I'm paying for the motivation as self study always ended up trumped by beer and play! Will it get me a job in IT rather than my dead end, humdrum slavery? I doubt it but I'm doing it as much for the self satitfaction as the overhyped job prospect blurb I got fed!! ;~} ..... I wonder just how far most people get in two years, cos I ain't a greenhorn with PC's and MCSE sure looks tough to me. Anyway, I intend to try and get my moneys worth outa this so I can see a sore brain comming!

 

Hi and welcome to CF, there isn't much money in IT as it used to be so it would be helpful if you really do have and gain an interest in computers in general.
