    Hi all and what a great forum it is! i joined today as i am wishing to start my career path in i.t, i have been building pc`s as mainly a hobbie for myself and helping others with their p.c`s and thought this is what i enjoy so why not have a crack at my a+ and see where it takes me.

    About the a+, if you do a self study what practical equipment will i need and what are the best books to aid me for the a+?

    As well as the 2 books that have been recommended, you could get a cheap pc (off ebay) to practice on.
