My name is Juan, I've find out this forum this week and I am very glad to join you.
I'm a Delphi programmer for 6 years and wanting to get into MS .net.
I'm currently self-studying for MCAD certification (c# and windows desktop) and a litte bit confused with new certs.
Am I in the best way or it could be better to go directly MCPD?

    we'll read ourselves :biggrin

Hi and welcome to CF :)

As for which route to go down, it's up to you. The MCAD is for working with .Net 1 (and 1.1), while the MCPD is for working with .Net 2.

And with .Net 3 just round the corner (currently in Beta), no doubt MS will be creating exams for them.

Microsoft retires certain exams, but gives you 12 months notice. See here if your require exams will be retired soon and then decide (if they will be then it should make your decision easier).
