    Hi All,

Been looking at the forum for a while and have decided to join. In the process of gaining my MCSE 2003. I have been forced to get my certs lol!!! been putting them off for years but my current employer is coughing up the cash so why not hey.

I have been working in Network/Server support for the last 6 years only 24 now. Been working in IT since the age of 18 so I guess I have a good bit of experience for someone my age. Currently working full-time for an IT Solutions company in Newcastle.

Starting with Exam 70-290 get one of the server exams out of the way I think. Been getting a lot of hands on experience with my current job as we are rolling out full networks using SBS and Enterprise editions of 2003 server.

How have people been getting on with 70-290 :D

    Hi Shaun

Welcome to the forum, I am sure you will find this place really useful as you wend your way to MCSE. It will probably be tougher than you expect, it certainly was a lot tougher than I expected. I had experience too, but it was still hard work. Be prepared for lots and lots and lots of self study, you cannot learn the necessary details in a classroom environment. Even the Microsoft MOCs (Microsoft Official Curriculum) only skim the surface of what you need to know in order to pass the related exam.

Good luck, we are here if you need help at any time.

    Pete
