I am currently studying for the Comptia A+ & N+ with Scheidegger Training. Yes I agree they are a bit expensive, but I feel that I need these qualifications to get my foot in the door to the world of IT. When i did my A+ with Scheidegger all my work was returned promptly and corrected, I had a good tutor. Now that I have almost completed my N+...I would say that i have had some problems, I have had five test papers in total lost in the post in which i posted using recorded delivery. It was not the royal mail who lost the papers, but a member of staff at Scheidegger who deals with the internal mail, as this member of staff signed for the documents. he should be sacked.

I would say that i will not be using Scheidegger again because of the hicups....they need to get their act together, it just causes frustration and anger in the fact that you have to re-do all the lost papers you sent to them, these papers are of course the one's that are written. Most of your assignments are of multiple choice in which you save to floppy disk and then send the file from your floppy to them through their website, by simply clicking on "Submit Tma".

I have seen no evidence of anyone completing the course and getting a job in IT, but then again how many training companies do guarantee you a job. Scheidegger do have a recruitment agency to line you up with interviews. but they may not be in your area.

I am currently applying for a post within my company as an IT Support Officer, will keep my fingers crossed....hope this helps any of you reading this. Stevie

I'm also doing the same course with Scheidegger. I'm not too happy with it either, but I'm gonna stick it out until the end.
