    Hello all.

I have been reading a lot of the posts on here today.

I have taken the plunge and registered.

I am looking forward to training (at home) to be an MCSE 2003 (messaging). I have been working with servers for around 5 years and before that is in the desktop division for around 6.

I know it will be a lot of work but I need the bit of paper that states that I know what I am talking about to potential employers. ( I have just been made redundant) I was thinking about the boot camp idea but it seems a lot of time to be away from my family (2 weeks is a long time to me!).

    That's my intro over.

    Regards,
    Dogleg.

    I think therefore I...
    I umm... I errr...

    I forgot!

    Hello Dog Leg

Sorry to hear you were made redundant.

I sure if you look under search there are lot's of Threads about Boot camps. The most important thing to remember is get your money's worth and that means swotting up on the topic before you go to Boot camp don't leave it to the last minute to submerse yourself in the topic. BC are good if your short on time.

When you get time have a look at "get a job in IT" by arisen a CF member. It has some sound advice and good links to websites.

    Good Luck

    Hello again!

Having read a lot about the whole training thing I have opted for CBT style training (with some extra bits and pieces!). I have ordered it from the USA and it should arrive tomorrow (Thursday). I have been watching my parcel fly all over the world! I also bought some Cisco CBT as well.

In for a penny and all that!

I will keep you all posted on how the materials look and VFM.

    Have fun everybody... :funfun
