I'm new to the forum and just wanted to say hello. I'm currently studying for exam 70-536 in the hopes of acquiring an MCTS certification in the not too distant future. I would love to talk to anyone who either has an MCTS cert or is currently pursuing one. I would be interested in hearing everyone's thoughts on becoming certified in Framework 2.0 when 3.5 is on the horizon.

I look forward to talking to you all!

Hi & welcome to CF, glad you joined :)

To be honest, imo, if you want to be certified, go for it regardless of what's next on the horizon. There will always be another version coming in or in development. If you wait for the next version all the time, you'll never be certified :) And considering that you can still be certified/take exams for 1.1, I wouldn't worry.
