hi all. i am going through a career change, and decided to go in IT, and was told my someone

Do you have any IT experience? As I understand Cisco certs are no walk in the park.

Comptia A+ and Network+ are regarded as a good place to start if you have none.

Just something to consider. But regardless self study is generally recommended!

Seconded. I'd advise starting with the A+ and Network+ (the latter of which will help you pick up some of the basics of CCNA). Cisco is very specialist and I can't imagine someone letting you play without getting prior experience.
