Hello all, my name is Gez and I am an Electrician based in Manchester.
At 29 and after 12 years working as a sparky I have decided to do a job that I would enjoy in networking.
I am going for the A+, CCNA route and am looking for advice on local trainining providers, distance learning v clasroom study, and obviously the best route into an IT job!

I think I have come to the right place and look forward to sharing my mission with you all!

    Hello

I did CCNA after doing A+, at my local college; it was very difficult - I failed! I am now working towards MCSE and hope to, perhaps, do CCNA again in the future. I'm not trying to put you off, by the way, but that was my experience. Personally, i wouldn't do the college thing again - i'm doing a distance learning course - and would do either that, or self-study. Personally, i feel i will be much better prepared for the CCNA after doing MSCE
