The new guy who started at my work is now leaving so that means me and my manager are going to have to go back onto double shifts.

Basically I will be working Monday and Tuesday days, Wednesday and Thursday nights and Friday from 12 noon. Then every alternate Saturday.

I wish test centers near me were open on a Saturday.

We are recruiting for a replacement but obviously the replacement will need training, so my new shifts are provisionally for 3 months.

    I'll just keep studying then.

To bad about pushing your exam back, good news is that your pay packet will be a bit bigger :)

Yep by 23% and double pay on a Saturday. Plus I am getting a £400 bonus for my trouble.

It just sucks as I planning on taking the exam soon.

I'll have to sit it after this new shift pattern ends, I did want to do in about 2 weeks but it's not going to be possible now.

I prefer night shift, rotating shifts are annoying but once you have dome them for a while you can do them. Although you do look knackered all of the time.

I worked nights in a job a few years back, loved it. Done my share of rotating shifts, your right, you always look knackered. Its a shame you have to put off your exam, is there no way you can fit it in on a Friday morning first thing? Be good it you could while everything is fresh in your mind.

Not when my nearest test center is 54 miles away in one direction and my work is 18.9 miles in the other. I would be pushing it as I am supposed to start at 12noon on a friday and finish at 4am on the Thursday.

What we need are 24hrs testing centres, wonder if Tesco's are willing to become Prometric and Vue centres? :biggrin
