Oh dear! "Global blue chip" here is an attempt to impress - it is not the name of a company.

"Blue Chip" is stock-exchange-speak for a well founded and reputable company. Used like this I would give it about the same weight as any other piece of advertising.

What evidence do you have that the company that aimacadamy are talking about, and the company that you link to are the same?

And the link you give for aimacademy is an email one!

It's advertised in the paper as being Blue Chip Offices based on Nuffield estate Poole, Dorset!

If you follow this link Blue chip

You will see a map of the UK and where the offices are based.

Right - thats the Blue Chip company - but what evidence do you have that the aimacademy ad is talking about them?

Your quote doesn't say that - in fact it is a typical piece of meaninless advertising verbiage so beloved of such agencies.

Blue chip is the IT company but the scheme is run through Aim Academy!

Gees, I feel like I'm getting flak here!

I posted the link because omni asked me to!

It says in the advert "please email for an application form to [email protected] or send a marked for the attention of Zoe Walker, Aim Academy, Nesco House, PO BOX 13, Winsford, Cheshire. CW7 3FE.

Well if there's places for it can't harm to enquire!

Anyway, like I said I was just posting the link as asked by Omni.

I didn't expect to get the third degree :x

Sorry - I didn't mean to give you the 3rd degree. It is just that as a somewhat cynical old fart it seems to me that things are not what you think they are!

I suspect that the company that Aim Acadamy are refering to is not the company you think it is. No more than that!

As you say - no harm to enquire But I'd want to know the name of this company before I signed to anything.

Not sure that scam is the right word - but that phrase is a favourite to use about a company you have never heard of!

I think your right Harry, it's quite a large ad and it would take me ages to type out! But something doesn't add up:-

The Blue Chip company based in Poole is an it company.

Yet this is what they say in the advertglobal blue chip financial organisation within it;s IT service Support function based at its offices in poole dorset

The financial organisation bit sounds suspect!

Sorry mate I think your right, I am jumping the gun a bit

I'd better go find a nice darker corner to hide in!

Well - at least the location is right! Just keep an open mind! It might be them, or it might not.

It was just that I've seen that phrase used so often before that it has become something I ignore these days!
