Well I was thinking of doing the 70-291 to get my MCSA 2003, but now its been retired, I wont be doing that

Change of job since last October, has been none stop, but now more involved with Cisco kit, the CCNA seems a good starting point

I have also passed my PRINCE2 Foundation and currently contemplating the Practitioner exam

Microsoft wise, MCSA 2008 / 2012 and Exchange 2010/2013 and Lync 2010/2013 look to be useful in my current role

Started November 2012 with the designate of 70-680 (windows 7) of the MCITP.

With the threat of retirement of the MCITP I aimed (struggled) to pass the 4 other exams (70-640;Active Directory, 70-642; Network Infrastructure, 70-643 Application Infrastructure, 70-647 Enterprise Administrator) [Which I did before the end July 2013]

I didn't make any other aims, other than to leave my current role and take on a more suitable role with my new skill set with the salary to match.

I do like the idea of converting my accreditation to the latest version of server 2012 & get that all important wording of "working in an ITIL framework" either by gaining the qualification to it or simply working in it and/or gaining the PRINCE2 exam like the previous dude posted above me.

All this should be coming from what I envisage to be my new employer.

    Time will tell.

I am not doing great with mine, although at least I made a start. I said I would do the 2012 MCSE but that's looking impossible right now. Way too much on at work. I passed the first exam, 70-410 I think it was, and I've been on a week long all in one 2012 course but that's about it.

VCP5..... sadly a no go as for some reason I haven't had the course, so until I get that, it doesn't seem worth pursuing.

Hope all of you are doing well and hitting those certification targets!

In regard to certs – fecking awful! Not done any exams this year although I do have a few books on the go just now (Server 2012, Sharepoint, Office 365).

Not too fussed though – busy at work and getting some good experience working out IT strategy for companies and budget (or lack of) management. :)
