    Hello,

My name's Matt and I've recently become certified in a few areas. I attended Zenos IT Academy over five and a half months, and finished a couple of weeks ago. The qualifications I currently have are as follows:

MCITP - Windows 7 Enterprise Desktop Support Technician (exams 70-680 and 70-685)
    CompTIA A+
    CompTIA Network+
    Employability Award
Diploma in IT Systems and Principles
    Diploma in IT Competence

As I'm only 18 years old, I feel that I've done quite well! Would you agree?

Anyway, it's nice to be here, and I look forward to meeting you all. I expect to be here quite a while. :D

    Cheers!
    Matt

    Thanks guys! :D

I'm aiming to do my Security+ next, and then maybe go on to the server exams with the MCITP.

The Microsoft qualification paths are really complicated.

    Welcome! :)

What in the world is an "Employability Award"? Not sure I'd include that on a CV... :blink

    Just my opinion.™ :)

It's technically "Award in Employability & Personal Development" I've just found - I'll try and find a little more information for you. I do believe it's a level three qualification, however. :)

Congrats mate, will you be doing/studying for anything else?

See here, basically it a soft skills qualification (alot of people do lack soft skills). And at level 3 of the NQF/QCF, is just under the first year of a BSc/BA (which would be comparable to level 4).

Yeeeah, Security+ next I think. I would like to do the MCDST as they're phasing it out very soon, but I can't afford it. :S

Ah, gotcha! Did not know it was an official qualification. Another of those across-the-pond chasms, I guess! :biggrin Thanks for the clarification!
