graphics card problem?

    I have a problem with a customers computer.
    When the computer runs for some time it displays no signal message on my monitor and starts a high pitch whistle?
    graphics chipset is built in. and have cleared the mobo of any dust etc.
    any help much appreciated

    are there any power saving settings in effect?
    Is there adaquate airfolow to prevent over heating?
    Have you tested it with a different monitor?

    Well it sounds like a hardware failure of the on-board graphics. You could try installing the latest drivers, in case a software bug is causing this and if that doesnt work, i would suggest you purchase a cheap graphics card.
