Hi All,

You know me, Jammy! Work have just given me the following for free, to keep, to help me pass my CCNA

Cisco 1760 Router
1840 Router
2800 Router
3550 Switch
501 PIX Firewall

My girl is gonna flip when I bring it home tomorrow but what can you do, its FREE I also joked to my boss that he didn't send me on a CEH course and he said "get it booked!" .

Anyway, enough rambling off me, I actually have a problem I need your help with pretty please. The PIX 501 has a username and password set on it but its that outdated (only allows 10 connections at once I think) the network lads can't remember what they are. Can anyone (BM) help me reset it to the factory settings please?

Thanks fellas, think I've found it on the Cisco site. I have to download np63.bin and go into monitor mode, set its ip,server, gateway etc I'll do it at home next week when I finish revising for 293.

 

Thanks mate, won't even attempt the CCENT/CCNA until my Microsoft studies are finished, well MCSE, but thought I better take them up on it now before they change their minds like More Jam than Hartleys my mate just said ha ha
