Google buttons

Seen this button earlier and pressed it, as i do with most buttons and it publicly add's onto google that you recommend something, has anyone else used this yet?

I find there's on on here if you click on the "Home" button on the forum, and it hovers on the right handside, i clicked it a min ago then it updates in search results.

AJ/SimonV - question - did you sign up to this, and put the button in, or is it some google voodoo?

What buttons I dont see no buttons!? must be some google hacker foo in your browser. I get those buttons in big G's search results but not in CF. Whats the point anyway, why would you recommend a page if you have not visited it yet!? I tend to search click a few links until I find the right one and then either del.ic.ious it or close the window, no opportunity there to click inserted faceboo.. err google buttons.

Ah I see, but still not see the google buttons on cf, not like the grabby grab that apexes posted.

 

Currently they are only on the forum homepage and the main homepage. Oh and in google search results.

 

It's for Google+. If you have a Google+ account/profile, and you click such buttons, they appear on your "wall" and people in your "circles" see these +1s. It's like high-fiving the suggestion/result/link and everyone in your jerk circle sees it.

 

I don't want people witnessing what I'm doing in my jerk circle.

 

That's a shame, because letting people watch can be quite profitable... not that I would know anything about that
