I have signed up to these forums so I can actually chat with people about my course - most people around my area (Midlands, UK) just glaze over with the mere mentioning of a PC!!

Have signed up for N+ certification, moving on to the CCNA and CCNP - all with Scheidegger. I'm also hoping for different opinons of these guys - I can't see much good about them on the net, though I haven't had any trouble with them so far.

Anyways, I'm off to check out the boards. Byesy!

    hi arroryn

I have signed up with them too but its far too early to come up with an opinion on them. I'm doing A+, N+, MCSA.

One thing I have found is that they have this insistance on doing things by post (remember when you used to put stamps on stuff?). It is possible to submit your assessments online but they then mail you the results and the code to unlock the next chapter's assessment. My advice, if you are covering old ground and want to get done asap, is to bug them on the phone the day after submitting an assessment and they give you the code to unlock the next chapter's tests (provided you passed of course), saving a couple of days over good old Royal mail.

Hi Arroryn, I've also signed up with Schiedegger with the A+, N+ CCNA course, Im also a bit dubious about recent reviews i've read on her but I have also been happy so far with the course but I am only 4 weeks into it on currently on my 3rd TMA but cant complain so far as they have returned my work within a week so just gives me time to go over my notes making sure it all sinks in...
Good luuck anyway mate if I dont speak to you again.. :D
