God it's hard to get a job with no hands on!!!!!!

    hi nugget

    im now moving onto the MCSA what should i expect from the microsoft exams ?? are they tougher than the COMPTIA ones??? I heard that the wording is aweful in the exams???

    any insight???

    I found that with the mike meyers stuff (PS cannot fault the A+ book it was spot on) it is good to first read so that you get a good idea of the basics of N+ as he has a great way of making things easy to read. But with the exam questions i felt that meyers didn't go into enough detail on some of the area's to answer all of the questions effectivly.

    My advice would be to read mike meyers 1st then maybe look to another source just to fine tune you knowledge,

    PS I see you have already done the A+cert so this should help you also!!!

    as for me its on to the MCSA route

    still in the process of frowarding my cv directly with companies but no joy as of yet hopefully they will get fed up and offer me the job lol

    Hi there just thought i would leave a post to update everyone I now have a job!!! i have landed a junior IT position with my local council!!!!

    With just an A+ and N+ it cannot be bad!!!!!!!!

    I had almost lost hope, anyone out there please don't give up just keep plugging away and that job will be yours!!!!!

    and i almost gave up but i start in two weeks

    I passed my A+ and N+ last year. When I made enquiries about advertised positions to an agency all I got was "Sorry I don't know what they are" the employers are not the problem THE AGENCIES ARE. If you could get to talk to the employers they can tell if you are up to it, but in most cases these agencies will be more of a problem than ANY exam
