I have a pc in the office that has all the latest flash player updates etc.

When I go on youtube it will be fine, if I close youtube down then reopen it I get a message saying you don't have the latest version of flash. Sometime it will be the other way around where it will say I don't have flash then I go back to it later and it's ok.

I am not sure whats going on, this system was one of those built for vista but has the OS downgraded to XP.

I have tried all sorts such as deleting the version of flash and any reference to it then reinstalling it, rebooting, deleting temp files, tried various fixes found on the net but non have worked.

    Any ideas?

Have you reset IE back to default?

Then uninstall Flash Player, delete any reg keys and info in the user profile as well.

    e.g

    C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Adobe\Flash Player
