That is a thing of beauty. The comment underneath the vid is priceless:

A friend suggested (by email) that he 'enjoyed the etheresque pointlessness' of it.

I've searched and thought and buggered around with that statement...

And I don't know what he means.

    Can you help?

Translates for me as "finger up own ass, with a modicum of talent, but f*ck all idea how to apply it practically"

I may be wrong though :biggrin

I think there's a touch more to it than that, old chap.

Said Gent is a 'Proper' engineer, inasmuch that we are using his expertise to communicate via the web etc., etc.

If we don't have 'power', then we don't have comms.

I think I'll ask him what he means, but until then...

    It's open for discussion. 8)

And then of course there's this...

Which is so beautiful in it's simple complexity it's unreal...

    Sorry abouth the apostrophe folks.

I, of course, meant 'its' (first one).

    Oh, the shame...

He may be a 'proper' engineer, but he has no idea about 'proper' English usage. There is no such word as 'Etheresque' - if he proves otherwise I'll eat my hat.

Therefore, I refer you to the honourable gentleman above's previous answer:

And I even spelled the made up word wrong. Should have been 'Escheresque'.

I think I'm having a bad spelling day.
